RCS begins life as a radio communication company in Kampala, Uganda. From the outset, our focus is on providing reliable voice communications in environments where standard infrastructure cannot be relied upon.
As client demand grows, RCS expands beyond radio into VSAT internet connectivity, mobile satellite services and networking. Operations extend into the Democratic Republic of Congo, bringing the same standards of reliability and in-country commitment to a new and demanding market. Increasing demand from South Sudanese clients — particularly NGOs, oil companies and international organisations operating in the region — leads to the formal establishment of RCS-South Sudan in Juba. This gives us permanent in-country presence in one of Africa's most logistically challenging operating environments.
